If at any point before a charter adverse weather conditions are forecast it will be at the discretion of the skipper of the boat to decide if the charter may proceed or not on safety grounds.
In the event of a change of date by the customer or postponement due to adverse weather an alternative date will be offered. We will do our best to accommodate all requests either on the chosen date or on the next earliest available date. Any payment made will remain valid for a like for like charter at a later date for up to 12 months. Refunds are not available on deposits or on paid charters where a postponement occurs due to adverse weather conditions or where the customer cancels after a confirmed booking. However no deduction is made for expenses incurred by Hamble Powerboat Charters on crew cancellations or moorings booked etc. as a result of that cancellation or postponement. If a charter is called off at any point due to worse than expected conditions on the day, or in the unlikely event of any mechanical failure. The full amount the customer originally paid will still be valid for the same trip on an alternate date.
